Finding skin cancer early is the best protection.
A full-body skin exam takes minutes and can catch melanoma, basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma while they are small and simple to treat. If a spot looks concerning, we can usually take a biopsy at the same visit, and many skin cancers are treated right here in our office.

Skin cancer affects every skin tone. In darker skin it often appears on the palms, soles or under the nails, so those areas are part of every exam.
